System Upgrades

Bring Your Home Back to the Future

Whether you’re dealing with aging components, loud relays, or just ready to modernize your system, upgrading your Touch-Plate® setup is easier—and more worthwhile—than ever.

Why Upgrade?

Upgrading to a modern Touch-Plate system isn’t just about fixing old problems—it’s an investment in:

  • Reliability: Modern systems are quieter, more efficient, and built to last.
  • Safety: New systems include stuck switch protection.
  • Simplicity: Wire management is dramatically improved—no more rats’ nests of wire nuts.
  • Expanded Control: Add dimming, scenes, timing, and even remote access from your phone or tablet.
  • Preserved Wiring: No need to rewire your home, you can reuse your existing low-voltage lines!
  • Increased Home Value: Updated systems raise your property value and restore function.

This Is What Your system transformation could look like!

What Do I Need to Know Before Upgrading?

📝 Do I need to rewire my home?

Nope. Your existing wiring is your biggest asset—it’s reusable.
No walls torn open. No rewiring required.

🔄 Can I upgrade part of my system now and finish later?

In most cases, the whole system must be upgraded at once unless your panels are isolated by separate power supplies.

💡 What about my switches?

  • Non-lighted switches usually work just fine.
  • Lighted switches need to be upgraded to newer LED models to avoid damage to the system.
